You deserve a design experience that feels clear, supportive, and well-managed. We lead the process, listen to what matters most, and design spaces that reflect your lifestyle and goals. You get clear communication at every step without the stress of managing details or coordinating the work yourself. It is an enjoyable, streamlined experience for people who want a design partner who understands their visual and brings it to life with confidence and care.

Step 1: Define and Discover

We start with a conversation and in-home consultation to understand your space, goals, and how you want your home to feel. This helps us understand your needs and ensure we’re the best fit to help you bring your vision to life. We then walk through your home to identify functionalities, challenges, and design opportunities, creating a space that truly supports how you live.

Step 2. Design, Plan, and Execute

After the consultation, we coordinate trade visits, gather quotes, and source all design elements. We keep you informed through regular check-ins so you always know how your project is progressing. We’ll do a complete design presentation outlining furniture selections, finishes, layouts, and investment details. Once approved, our team manages sourcing, ordering, and installation through to completion.

Step 3: Styling, Walkthrough & Handover

Once installation is complete, we style the space and add the finishing touches. We walk you through your newly designed home, answer any questions, and take care of final details or deficiencies. You’ll also receive a complete package of warranties, materials, and final documentation for future reference.

Q: Is it necessary to have a design consultation before we start my project?

Yes. Our design consultation is where we take the time to truly understand you — your space, lifestyle, and vision. We’ll talk about your must-haves, wish list, budget, and timeline, and walk you through our process so you know what to expect every step of the way. It’s also a chance to make sure we’re the right fit — because great design starts with trust, clarity, and collaboration.

Q: Will I have to buy all new furniture if I want to work with your team?

Not at all — it’s completely up to you and the direction you’d like to take. We can blend your existing pieces into the new design or source new ones to fill in what’s missing. Either way, our goal is to create a space that feels cohesive, beautiful, and uniquely yours — whether it’s all new, a mix of both, or a refresh of what you already love.

Q: Can I use some of my own trades to work with RB Home?

You can, if you prefer to. However, please note that we can’t guarantee or take responsibility for the work of trades who aren’t part of our trusted team. Any errors or delays caused by external contractors would fall outside of our coverage. We always recommend working with our vetted trades to ensure a smooth process, consistent quality, and results that meet our standards.

Q: How much involvement do you need from me during the project?

As little as you’d like. Many of our clients are only involved during the consultation, presentation, and final reveal — we handle everything in between. From design and sourcing to setup and addressing any deficiencies, our goal is to make the process seamless, enjoyable,  and stress-free for you.

Q: What kind of budget do I need to plan for?

That depends on the scope of your project — whether it’s a full-home decorating plan or just a few key spaces like the living and dining rooms — as well as how much you’d like to invest in each piece. We’ll guide you through the process to ensure your budget goes toward the right items and delivers the most impact. For convenience and ease, we usually recommend focusing on two to three rooms at a time rather than the entire home all at once.

Q: How long does it take from start to finish?

From the consultation, you can expect the process to take around 18 weeks or more, depending on the scope of your project. This timeline allows for design development, ordering, vendor lead times, and any custom pieces we create specifically for your home. Good design takes time — it’s about thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and making sure every element works beautifully together. It takes time to do it right than rush something that should feel timeless and intentional.
